Shaitaan Movie Review.
Suspense and terror are usually key components of a strong supernatural thriller that draw in the audience. It’s a job well done, even if it eschews jump scares in favour of an unnerving experience.
Director Vikas Bahl has done a great job with Shaitaan in this regard. The arrival of a stranger
Including his nerdy son Dhruv (Anngad Raaj), his younger daughter Jahnavi (Janki Bodiwala) and his
wife Jyotika Vanraj Kashyap (R Madhavan) They soon find trouble in the film and unexpectedly
manages to lead Jahnavi till the end.
When Vanraj’s instructions came to Janavi and her family, she followed all his instructions and
whether the family could escape her pain. The evil plans and deceptions of the villain will harm you, which is the main reason for the course of events in the story.
The movie, which was co-written by Aamir Keeyan Khan and Krishnadev Yagnik, avoids common horror clichés. However, it does address the long-standing conflict between science and the supernatural as well as human crudity, which reduces humans to the same level as evil entities.
Although there are some repetitive moments in the second half, overall the story moves along at a good clip and the acting keeps the audience interested throughout. Even if there isn’t much tension, the buildup is unsettling.
Some parts of the story are unreliable and the presentation of the main plot gives the desired
impression. The soundtrack by Amit Trivedi contributes to the aura of darkness and dreads that cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti masterfully creates.
Madhavan gives an excellent performance as the villain who does all bad things for success. As a defenseless yet resolute father, Ajay Devgn gives a strong performance.
Jyotika is also very powerful. Janki Bodiwala deserves praise for her excellent performance as the intelligent young woman.
